Internship for Bachelor Student

Objectives:

3 months internship. Wintershall Dea was and is being involved in multiple joint-industry research projects dedicated to multiple issues of the CO2 storage value chain, including phase behaviour, pipeline and ship transport, multiphase flow in porous media and wellbore, interaction with reservoir rocks and brines, application of numerical modelling and simulation tools etc. A proper archiving of the reports and data with comprehensive review and analysis is required for understanding of already obtained results, steering of further research and drawing the right conclusions for future developments/projects.

Tasks and deliverables:

  • Structure and archiving existing reports and study results.
  • Read through the reports, prepare 2-3 page short report and 2-3 slide presentation per project summarizing key objectives and results.
  • Develop a multi-project Excel spreadsheet for assessment of cross-overlaps.  

Requirements:

  •  Know-how on petroleum related engineering disciplines (production, reservoir, transport)
  • Being familiar with different experimental laboratory procedures.
